Centrale Lounge Restaurant
A hip new bar-restaurant, just steps from Piazza San Marco, has a futuristic design but is anachronistically housed in a 16th century shell. It offers also a very romantic corner with a table prepared for two, just in front of the water. You can eat until late at night (1:00am).

Naranzaria - Wine Bar in Rialto
Back in the times when Venice was the getaway to the Orient, the "Naranzaria" was the warehouse where citrus fruits were stored. Now in this osteria you can taste exotic flavours of sushi, the Mediterranean freshness of couscous and the typical flavours of the hinterland of the Serene Repubic, such as Salami from Friuli and wines of Veneto.

Osteria Enoteca San Marco
This classy osteria, located a stone's throw from Piazza San Marco, is a step up in both quality and decor from many of the tourist-oriented eateries in the area. Noodes with lobster and tender venison are amongst the appetising dishes on offer in the relaxed and rustic setting. The extensive wine list is also excellent.

Riva Rosa Burano
Definitely the most romantic spot on the most romantic Island in the Venetian lagoon. If you visit Burano Island, famous for its colorful houses and its ancient lacemakers tradition, you can not miss Riva Rosa. There is also a private terrace (called "altana") overlooking the houses and the surrounding canals. Very intimate ambience with a professional service organized by a family living in Burano since 4 generations.
