COURTESY MOTOR BOAT SERVICE
We operate a complimentary Boat Service to and from our private dock at Piazzetta San Marco (beside St Mark's Square) 24 hours a day. The launch crosses the lagoon in just a few spectacular minutes.
The night service runs from the boat dock near the swimming pool from 10:30 pm to 9:00 am to ensure that guests are not disturbed. In case of rain, the night service leaves from our main entrance.
AIRPORT TRANSFER
There are three ways to reach the Hotel Cipriani from Venice Marco Polo Airport (VCE):
- By water taxi (motoscafo) straight from the airport to the hotel (30 minutes)
- By the shared taxi boat service Alilaguna from the airport to the terminal at St Mark's Square beside the Cipriani's private landing stage at Piazzetta San Marco. (Please note that the shared taxi boat service does not connect with every flight)
- By bus to the terminal at Piazzale Roma, then by water taxi from Piazzale Roma to the hotel
We are delighted to arrange private transfers to or from the Venice Marco Polo Airport (30 minutes). All we need are are full flight details at least two days prior to arrival date and our Concierge will be pleased to confirm the service. Our representative will meet you at the airport and help you to reach the private water taxi pier by shuttle bus.
The cost for an airport transfer is Euro 170 + 10% VAT one way, and includes greeting and assistance outside at the arrivals gate by one of our representatives, porterage service, shuttle to reach the pier and water taxi and private boat to reach the hotel (the same is valid back to the airport).
The above rate is valid from 8:00AM to 8:00PM. For any other transfer request, please do not hesitate to contact our Concierge who will be pleased to send you a quotation and confirm the service.
TRAIN STATION TRANSFER
From the train station Santa Lucia you can reach the Hotel Cipriani by water taxi straight to the hotel (20 minutes). We are delighted to organize a private transfer: our representative will meet you at the train station and help you to reach the private water taxi. Contact our concierge to arrange your transfer.
CAR PARKING SERVICE
Private car parking is available at Piazzale Roma at the Internation Rental Car. The office is open from 8:00am to 12:30pm and from 3:00pm to 7:30pm (Tel. 0039 041 528 9494). Your car will be parked in a garage under surveillance during your stay in Venice. The car will be brought back to Piazzale Roma to meet you on your departure.
We are delighted to organize a private water boat transfer from Piazzale Roma to the Hotel Cipriani (15 minutes), contact our concierge to arrange your transfer.
PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION
The Alilaguna public boat services operates from the airport to the terminal at St Mark's Square beside the Cipriani's private landing stage.
The n° 42 Vaporetto public boat, leaving from the Zitelle stop behind the hotel (five minute walk) provides services at 20 minute intervals stopping at (amongst others) Piazzale Roma and the Railway Station. In the other direction, the n° 41 stops at San Zaccaria (near St Mark's Square, Arsenale, Fondamente Nuove, Murano). The n° 2 public boat also leaves from the Zitelle stop at 15 minute intervals in each direction.
PRIVATE DOCKING PIER
The Hotel Cipriani harbour has docking facilites for yachts and boats up to 70 feet (draught 10 feet). The Cip's pier on Fondamenta delle Zitelle has docking facilities for three motor launches, and four berths in front of the Granaries building for boats up to 90 feet (draft 20 feet).
